This policy covers Kaper Group Pty Ltd, trading as Kaper Auto Electrical & Air Conditioning ("Kaper", "we", "us"). It explains what information we collect through this website and our work, why we collect it and how we look after it.
What we collect
When you contact us, use a form or one of our tools, we collect the details you give us. That usually includes your name, company, phone number, email address, the location of your vehicles or machines, and details about your fleet and the work you need done.
When you visit the website, we may collect general information about how the site is used, such as the pages visited, the device and browser used and how you arrived. This is collected with analytics tools and cookies, described below.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry, quote and book work.
- To do the work and keep records of it.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
- To measure whether our advertising is working.
We don't sell your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without asking.
Forms and service providers
Our website forms are processed by Formspree, a form handling service that may store data outside Australia. We also use common business tools such as email and phone services to run the business. These providers handle your information on our behalf.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how people use the site and to measure enquiries from our advertising, including Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising. These tools use cookies and similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google provides an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we only keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
