Civil fleets on Maitland's new estates
Subdivision work means bulk earthworks, drainage, kerb and gutter and road building, often on the same estate at the same time. When an excavator's AC fails in January or a roller throws an electrical fault, the whole sequence behind it can stall.
We come out to the estate and work on the machine where it sits. Most plant AC faults come down to a leak, a blocked condenser, a failed compressor or a problem in the AC circuit, and we bring the gear to find out which on the spot.
Work utes that have to start every shift
Roadworks on the New England Highway and on new estate roads keep civil and service crews moving all over Maitland. Their utes carry beacons, light bars and work lights, and a flat battery or a dead light bar can stop a crew heading out.
We fit out new utes and trucks, repair the wiring on existing ones and build to the spec your contract calls for, signage and asset numbers included. Our fleet vehicle fit-outs page has the detail.
Transport yards from Rutherford to Thornton
Rutherford's industrial area sits on the New England Highway on the western side of town, with more industrial land out at Thornton to the east. Trucks working from those yards spend their days on the highway or the Hunter Expressway, which runs south of Maitland.
We can service trucks in the yard between runs, which stops a regas or a wiring repair from costing you a day's work. The depots at Beresfield, just past Thornton, are covered the same way.
Getting started on a Maitland estate or depot
Pick two or three vehicles, whether they're on an estate at Gillieston Heights or parked in a Rutherford yard, and book an AC check. It's the quickest way to see how we work, and while we're there we'll look over the electrics and flag worn parts, with a quote for anything worth doing.
We only take on business and fleet vehicles. If you've got a private car or a caravan that needs work, a general auto electrician will suit you better.
