Expressway access, and machines that never stay put
The Kurri Kurri interchange at Heddon Greta and the Loxford interchange on Hart Road put the expressway on the town's doorstep, with the Buchanan interchange further east on John Renshaw Drive. For civil and plant businesses, that means machines move from job to job across the valley.
When one breaks down, we go to wherever it is, not just the home yard. A water cart on a Maitland estate or an excavator out past Cessnock gets the same visit as one parked behind the shed.
Civil works and industrial land around Kurri Kurri
New housing around Heddon Greta and towards Gillieston Heights, plus industrial land around the town, keeps earthmoving crews busy close to home. Excavators, dozers, rollers and water carts working that ground take in a lot of dust.
We clean and repair condensers, replace failed compressors and evaporators, and sort out the electrical faults that come with machines working hard in the dirt. Most of that can be done on the job, so the machine gets back to work without a trip on a float.
Plant hire yards: set-up, rebuilds and harnesses
Hire machines come back with all sorts of problems. We can handle new machine set-up before a unit goes out, rebuilds when one comes back tired, and electrical and AC checks in between.
When a loom keeps failing, a braided wiring harness is often a better fix than more conduit and fittings, and we build them with a quick turnaround. A loom that lets go while a machine is out on hire is a call-out nobody wants.
Weston, Abermain and Pelaw Main too
We cover the towns around Kurri Kurri as well, including Weston, Abermain, Pelaw Main and Stanford Merthyr, with Cessnock further west. A small civil or plant outfit running from a shed in Weston gets the same service as a big depot. It's business work only, so fleets, plant and trucks rather than private cars or caravans.
