Numbers that are still there after the wash
Asset numbers tend to fail the same way. A corner lifts, the pressure washer gets under the edge, and a few washes later the ute is down to half a number.
Respro stands up to high-pressure cleaning. Vehicles and plant can be washed down as usual and the asset numbers stay intact. You can keep the fleet clean without losing track of which vehicle is which.
Why a readable number matters
An asset number does a lot of quiet work. It's what the operator writes on the pre-start, what an auditor checks against your asset register, and how the right vehicle gets found in a full yard.
When the number is half gone, the records start to drift. A pre-start goes in against the wrong machine, a site audit turns into a hunt for rego plates and serial numbers, and the register stops matching what's parked outside.
Hi-vis numbers help with the yard part too. When the row is all white utes, a number you can pick out from across the yard saves a walk up and down it.
One look across the fleet
When numbers go on one vehicle at a time, by whoever had the stickers that week, no two end up the same. One ute has its number on the door, the next has it on the tailgate, and the newest one doesn't have one yet.
We make up the numbers from your asset list and fit them in the same spot on every vehicle of the same type, so the fleet reads as one fleet. Our own service ute shows the idea: its number sits on the door and the canopy.
Vehicle signage and toolbox wraps can be part of the same job. The doors, the canopy and the toolbox then match, instead of each being done by a different trade at a different time.
Numbers for plant and equipment
Respro isn't only for vehicles. We can put hi-vis numbers on any equipment: machinery, plant and the rest of the gear on your asset register.
Tell us what needs numbering and where each number should sit. We'll talk it through with you before anything is made up, so the numbers end up where operators and auditors look for them.
Done in the same visit as other work
Signage is the job that gets left until later, and later often never comes. If we're already at your depot for a fleet vehicle fit-out, the numbers and signage can go on before the vehicle goes back to work. A new ute then starts its first shift finished.
The same goes for a fleet AC regas. Send the list when you book, and any vehicle with a worn or missing number can get a new one while we're working through the aircon.
If you're on a preventative maintenance program, planned visits are a good time to replace damaged numbers or update ones that have changed. It's one less trade to book, and one less job left sitting on the list.
