No. Kaper only works on business fleets and machinery: utes, trucks, plant and equipment. For a private car, caravan or boat, a local auto electrician is a better fit.

Yes. Kaper is mobile. We work at your depot, yard or job site, so vehicles and machines don't lose a day travelling to a workshop.

We do weekend work and take weekend breakdown calls by arrangement. Call and we'll tell you straight when we can get there.

We travel further for dealer and manufacturer call-outs. If your gear is outside our usual area, call and ask.

There's no single interval that suits every fleet. A check before summer is a good habit, and anything that isn't blowing cold should be diagnosed before it's regassed. Our guide on how often to regas goes through it.

We recover what's left in the system, pull a vacuum to check it holds, recharge it to spec and test that it's blowing cold. If there's a leak, it needs finding and fixing before the system is refilled. See fleet AC regas.

In most cases, yes. We repair and replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, receiver driers and expansion valves on trucks and earthmoving gear in the field. See truck and machinery AC.
