Cab AC for long, hot runs
When the aircon can't keep up, every hour on the road is harder than it needs to be, and it's the driver who wears it. There's a WHS side to this as well, which we cover in our post on hot cabs.
Most cab AC problems start small: a slow leak, a tired compressor, a condenser caked in road grime. We find the cause, repair what's failed, regas to spec and check the vents are blowing cold before the truck goes back out. The truck AC repairs page covers the bigger jobs.
Lighting, charging and electrical faults
On a truck, an electrical fault is rarely where it first looks. A light out at the back can be a plug, an earth, a chafed wire under the chassis or a fault up in the cab.
We follow the fault to its cause and fix that, so you're not back at the same problem next month. The ones that come and go take the most patience, and our post on intermittent electrical faults explains why.
Booked around your runs
We come to the depot when the trucks are in. Tell us your run schedule and we'll fit the work in between runs, or on a weekend by arrangement.
Got a fleet to get through before summer? Start with a fleet AC check across the trucks. While we're on site we look over the electrics as well, and quote anything that needs doing so you can plan it in.
