Two shores, two road corridors
The Pacific Highway runs down the eastern shore through Belmont and Swansea, while the M1 runs down the western side past Morisset. A fleet spread across both can spend more time on the road than on the job, especially when the workshop is on the wrong side of the lake.
We come to you instead. A truck in a Toronto yard, a loader on a site near Morisset and a ute fleet at Warners Bay can each be looked after where they are. The light industrial fleets around Cardiff and Glendale are covered too.
Quarry plant, power generation contractors and civil crews
Quarry loaders, dump trucks and excavators work in fine dust all day. It packs into condensers, chokes cabin filters and works its way into electrical connectors, so we check the whole system rather than just the gas level. Our guide to dust and vibration in machinery AC explains what to watch for.
Contractors supporting power generation around the southern end of the lake run their own mix of utes, trucks and plant. So do the civil crews building new estates in the west and south of the city. One call covers the compact excavator, the tipper and the crew ute.
Where to start with a Lake Macquarie fleet
The simplest first job is an aircon regas and performance check on a few vehicles. We recover the old gas, pull a vacuum, leak test, recharge to spec and check the vent temperatures.
While we're under the bonnet, we look at batteries, charging, lights, belts and anything else that looks like trouble. You get a quote for anything extra before we touch it.
One thing we don't take on is private work. The lake has no shortage of private cars, caravans and boats, but we only work on business vehicles and machinery.
